Web Accessibility Policy
The purpose of this policy is to provide persons with disabilities the same access to, and use of, the site as persons without disabilities.
It is the policy of the LoneStar 529 PlanSM that all plan information published on the sites shall be accessible to all users. The site has been designed to comply with the guidelines in the 1998 Amendment to Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (29 U.S.C. 794d) that are required by Texas state law, and therefore all web pages containing plan information that have been built, updated or revised will be compliant to this policy.
Web Accessibility and Usability Testing
To ensure the plan sites are designed with consideration for the different types of Internet connections available, we will test the site on an ongoing basis (at minimum annually) for accessibility and usability.
